About Archipela

A resource for European organisations moving toward sovereign and open software.

An archipelago is many islands, each standing on its own, yet forming a single connected whole. That is the shape of a sovereign European digital stack: distinct national and open solutions, coordinated rather than consolidated.

Archipela starts with the practical problem underneath that shift. Keeping track of fast-moving regulation is hard, finding credible alternatives is harder, and doing both while running a business is harder still. We begin with a weekly regulation digest focused on the Nordics and the EU, and grow from there into a catalogue of alternatives and a community around the transition.
